We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our commercial activities in the renewable energy sector. As a Corporate Development Manager, you'll oversee all commercial aspects related to the development of solar, battery, and wind projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Manage commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to financial close.
- Identify and pursue strategic M&A opportunities aligned with our growth objectives.
- Structure and negotiate project finance agreements, including debt and equity financing.
- Negotiate and manage offtake agreements and other key commercial contracts.
- Analyse market trends and regulatory developments to inform project strategy and decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to support the identification, assessment, and execution of new project opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in commercial management within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar, battery storage, and/or wind projects.
- Proven track record of successfully executing acquisitions and divestments and structuring complex project finance deals.
- Strong understanding of offtake agreements, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and other commercial contracts relevant to renewable energy projects.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends, financial risks, and opportunities.
