Renewable Energy Project Manager

Bradman Renewable Energy & Carbon Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Planning & Environmental Manager to join our team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing planning and environmental aspects of renewable energy projects in Australia. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of state and Commonwealth environmental regulations and the environmental referral process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the permitting process, including applications for local, state, and Commonwealth environmental permits;
- Manage external planning and environmental consultants to achieve best-for-project outcomes;
- Develop comprehensive project plans for projects, integrating environmental considerations into every phase;
- Cultivate positive relationships with local communities, addressing concerns, and ensuring transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle;
- Lead and manage the preparation of environmental referral documentation for submission to regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or related field;
- Extensive experience in managing planning and environmental aspects of renewable energy projects in Australia;
- In-depth knowledge of state and Commonwealth environmental regulations and the environmental referral process;
- Strong understanding of the Australian environmental impact assessment framework.

Bradman Renewable Energy & Carbon Recruitment is a specialist developer, owner, and operator of large-scale battery energy storage systems across the NEM. We have over 1 GW portfolio of large-scale BESS projects across four states and will be both developing and purchasing more.
