Oversee Daily Operations at Our Site Cafe

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Cafe Manager to join our client's team in Lucas Heights, New South Wales. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of food and beverage services at this site.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $80,000 per year, plus superannuation.
  • You will work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the business.
  • The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager Regional.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Management and operation of all facets of the catering activity, including high street cafes, function services, finance, people management, culture, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Create a welcoming cafe experience for customers, focusing on excellent service quality, great coffee, and engaging merchandising strategies.
  • Design, develop, and implement initiatives to improve service quality and revenue growth.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including staff, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Lead innovation and promotional schedules to drive revenue and customer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in cafe and catering management within a high-volume environment.
  • A NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate is essential.
  • A Food Handlers Certificate is also essential.
  • Familiarity with financial acumen, forecasting, and budgeting is desirable.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
