Western Sydney Cafe Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Cafe Manager to join our dynamic team at Percy Plunkett in Penrith, NSW.
The successful candidate will have a Diploma qualification and 1-2 years of relevant experience in a cafe management role. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, ensuring high-quality food and service, planning seasonal promotions, and collaborating with chefs to create menus.
The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to lead and manage a team. A can-do attitude, creativity, and passion for food service are essential qualities for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily cafe operations, including staff supervision and inventory control.
- Plan and coordinate seasonal promotions, events, and special functions to enhance customer engagement.
- Collaborate with chefs to create menus, ensure consistency of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain strict sanitary and food safety standards, enforcing compliance with health regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Work closely with the cafe manager to establish sales forecasts, review expenditures, and manage budgets.
- Organize staff rosters, recruit new team members, and provide training to meet performance standards.
- Diploma qualification in a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in a cafe management role.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
$75,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
