The Child Protection Practice Leader (Sexual Exploitation) is a pivotal role in safeguarding children and young people from sexual exploitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert Practice Advice: Providing leadership and guidance to practitioners and partners on best practices and case management strategies.
- Collaboration: Engaging with Victoria Police, other agencies, and the community to prevent and address child exploitation.
- Program Development: Supporting the integration of theory and practice to develop effective programs and services for at-risk youth.
Essential Skills:
- Child-centered relationship-based practice
- Collaboration and consultation skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Required Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, human services or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualifications in social work or a related field.
Skills Assessment and Training:
