Protective Security Operations Officer Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Protective Security Operations Officer to join our team.

As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the Manager, including ad-hoc security-related projects. You will also deliver a Help Desk function for both branch and corporate security issues, coordinate the Critical Incident Response program, and maintain and enhance operating instructions, contact lists, asset registers, security records, and Security Manuals.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a small team environment, utilizing your excellent communication and organizational skills. You will also be required to have flexibility to be available for after-hours on-call support for security issues on a rotating basis.

Our ideal candidate will possess previous experience operating in a security services capacity within a large organisation or service provider, ideally within the banking environment. They will also have conflict resolution or de-escalation training or experience, enabling them to deal confidently and decisively with internal and external stakeholders.

Beyond delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a high level of professionalism, you will be accountable for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to security operations.
