Clinical Assistant, Genomics Role Summary

This role involves working independently and collaboratively with a team to provide effective support in the field of genomics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Molecular pathology, including specimen reception, nucleic acid extraction, data entry, and proper handling of biological specimens.
  • Collaborating as a team member under senior practitioners to produce high-quality work outputs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, client focus, and effective communication.
  • Ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures, legislative standards, and relevant accreditation requirements.
Qualifications, Registrations, and Requirements
  • Nil mandatory qualifications.
  • Relevant qualification is well-regarded but not mandatory.
  • Visa conditions disclosure for non-permanent residents of Australia.
  • Reasonable adjustments advice for applicants with special needs or requirements.
