Endeavor is a leading ocean data company that collects data for clients ranging from mapping the seabed to monitoring the environment. We utilize a marine robotic system known as an Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) to collect data.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the processing, analysis, and reporting of survey data collected at a highly technical level.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process and report survey data in a shift pattern when required.
  • Develop and verify automated processing processes.
  • Manage data logs and ensure diligent data management.
  • Plan processing workflows to meet project requirements.
  • Set up survey software and hardware for offline use prior to project start-up.
  • Monitor data quality and provide feedback to online surveyors.
  • Liaise with clients to understand and provide technical requirements.
  • Prepare technical reports and deliver data within stated deadlines to a high standard.
  • Track data processing progress and coordinate a team of data processors.
  • Perform other tasks related to running the data processing department.

Additional Responsibilities

  • May involve online surveying.
  • Supporting with information for tenders.
  • Managing and maintaining Quality, Environment, and Health and Safety standards, including updating and implementing ISO processes.
  • Implementing, maintaining, and updating standard operating procedures and processes.

Requirements

  • Hydrographic Surveyor Qualification – Cat A or Cat B or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of MBES Survey Experience (hydrographic survey and assets inspections).
  • Experience with pipeline data processing and eventing.
  • Survey data processing experience of MBES, Side-scan Sonar, and Geophysical Data.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and proactive nature with a keen attention to detail.

Desirable Experience

  • ARC GIS and AutoCad knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Experience of marine survey data post-processing software (e.g. POSpac MMS, QPS softwares, BeamworX softwares, EIVA softwares etc).
  • Experience of marine survey data online software is an advantage.
  • Experience with Python coding in a hydrographic/geophysical survey application.
