About the Role

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Reporting and Contracts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will play a critical role in upholding our core values of love, respect, reliability, and empowerment through effective asset management and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Reporting: Oversee and ensure the accuracy and compliance of asset reporting processes, including report writing and data analysis.
  • Contract Management: Handle contract negotiation, implementation, and review to ensure they meet organisational standards, including procurement and management of contractors.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to align asset management with organisational objectives, ensuring seamless administration and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, to facilitate smooth administration and reporting.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Manage the WA residential rental portfolio, including maintenance requests and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed reports on repairs, maintenance, capital expenditure, budgeting, and asset management.
  • Training & Development: Complete mandatory training and participate in annual development appraisals to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Essential: Proven experience in asset management and contract administration, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication and Negotiation Abilities: Effective communication and negotiation skills to work with various stakeholders, including contractors and senior management.
  • Leadership and Team Management Skills: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively supervise the Property Services Administrator.
  • Commitment to Strategic Initiatives: Commitment to supporting strategic initiatives and aligning asset management with organisational goals.
Desirable:
  • Qualification in Business or Business Administration: A qualification in business or business administration is desirable.
  • Experience in Aged Care or Health Care Environment: Experience in an Aged Care or Health Care environment is desirable.
