About the Role

FIS is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to join our Capital Markets team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful end-to-end delivery of large and complex customer projects and internal change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the business, planning the programs from start to completion.
  • Ensure the product delivery program, implementations projects, and support teams are aligned.
  • Maintain effective dialogue at all levels of a client organization, up to and including C-suite, and within the FIS leadership structure.
  • Formulate, organize, and monitor multiple, large, often interconnected projects.
  • Oversight, composition, and ownership of the delivery strategy.
  • Lead and evaluate Project Managers and other staff as part of a project engagement.
  • Strictly control and manage deadlines, budgets, and activities.
  • Assume full responsibility for program governance and commercial oversight.
  • Help review and rescue programs to put them back on track.
  • Establish, refine, and roll out 'best practice' policy and procedures for program/project management activities across FIS' Capital Markets operations.

Requirements

  • Substantial proven experience as a Senior Program Manager, having already managed complex, high-value programs.
  • Previous experience in Capital Markets/Financial Services, with knowledge of Treasury Products an advantage.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Ability to relate well to C-suite clients, as well as negotiation skills and ability to influence outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and program management software (MS Project, etc.).
  • First-class presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel when necessary.
