Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver business and technology-based programs
  • Drive portfolio initiatives, coordinating complex projects and ensuring successful implementation
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate initiatives across multiple teams, value streams, and delivery domains
  • Develop and articulate strategically aligned team plans at a portfolio/program level
  • Take ownership of large, complex pieces of work and lead through complexity to achieve results
  • Identify and manage potential delivery risks, developing mitigation strategies and supporting change management efforts
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Develop business cases and work with key stakeholders to implement approved initiatives
  • Encourage knowledge sharing across multiple teams and programs of work
Requirements
  • Agile delivery experience, beyond just qualifications or have a level of exposure
  • Previous experience working within a customer-focused team in a digital/online and custom development environment
  • Demonstrated success in directly managing large and sophisticated programs, with a proven track record in successfully leading a delivery team in a matrix reporting environment
  • Excellent delivery background of senior project or program delivery roles
  • Ability to articulate and represent multiple team plans that are strategically aligned
  • Proven ability to facilitate and influence at C-Suite level to drive program outcomes
  • Proven ability to build and navigate relationships with senior leaders across the business
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more Agile frameworks acquired through practical experience
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and facilitation skills
  • Proactive promoter of agile best practices and a growth mindset
  • Tertiary qualification in IT/computer science or a related business discipline
  • Agile certification
  • Proficient in the use of Jira and Confluence; Jira Align knowledge highly desirable
