Job Title: Manager Curriculum Governance

Description:

The role of a manager in curriculum governance involves providing support to operational training teams at the academy, facilitating the delivery of Corrective Services training and development programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating and ensuring that all Regional Training Organisation functions comply with relevant legislation, including the Vocational Education and Training Act and Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
  • Designing, developing, implementing, managing and reviewing an internal quality assurance process demonstrating RTO compliance against current Standards for RTOs.
  • Maintaining academic standards through the implementation and management of quality assurance, course progress, assessment, moderation and other policies and procedures.
  • Managing AVETMISS compliant reporting systems.
  • Promoting high-level industry engagement, which showcases best practice in maintaining compliant, current, reliable and valid training and assessment materials.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to delivery portfolios concerning scoping, and the development of transition plans where qualifications are superseded or replaced.
  • Fostering and sustaining a network of relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including VET regulators, state and federal governing bodies and stakeholders regarding RTO registration, scope of delivery and other related issues and functions.

Qualifications, Professional Registration and Conditions:

  • A relevant qualification in vocational education and training would be desirable.
  • The role will be based at the QCS Academy.
  • Travel may be a requirement of the role.
