Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist to play a critical role in supporting current and upcoming Defence programs across the capability lifecycle.

This includes developing, implementing, and maintaining effective data management frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with Defence and Commonwealth standards.

The successful candidate will ensure data integrity, accuracy, and traceability across technical, engineering, and logistics domains.

Key responsibilities include managing structured and unstructured data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and establishing secure data repositories.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Data Management or a related discipline, along with 3-5 years' experience in data management within Defence or a highly regulated technical environment.

Prior knowledge of Defence data standards and artefacts is essential, as well as proficiency in data governance, lifecycle management, and configuration control.

Australian Citizenship is required to meet security clearance requirements, and NV1 security clearance (or eligibility to obtain) is highly desirable for this role.
