Project Manager Role

A successful Construction Project Manager will oversee the delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

This role involves managing all aspects of a project, from planning and execution to handover and evaluation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in construction management.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Prepare detailed project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments to ensure projects are delivered within constraints.
  • Determine material, labor, and subcontractor requirements, coordinating with suppliers and vendors as needed.
  • Supervise, train, and hold accountable direct reports, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with superintendents and other stakeholders to resolve complex construction problems and improve project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including health and safety protocols.
  • Investigate and resolve client complaints and concerns, providing effective solutions and communication.
Requirements
  • Travel regionally (locally) to jobsites, approximately 50+%
  • Proven construction experience, preferably in multi-family or commercial sectors.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience with project management software is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and make authoritative decisions when necessary.
