Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled residential construction supervisor to oversee the building of new homes. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team with confidence.

  • Oversee the entire construction process of new homes, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and exceptional quality standards.
  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers effectively, managing workflows and timelines to meet project requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with trade partners, suppliers, building officials, homeowners, and other team members, fostering a positive work environment and resolving issues promptly.
  • Utilize attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and productivity throughout the construction process.
  • Develop and implement effective construction scheduling processes, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused attitude and persistent work ethic, striving for excellence in every aspect of the job.
  • Regularly visit job sites to inspect quality, monitor progress, and provide guidance as needed, ensuring homes are completed on time and meeting our high-quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless interactions with customers, subcontractors, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, allowing for efficient task prioritization and project coordination.
  • Thorough understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction industry standards.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications accurately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software applications.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience overseeing the construction of new homes, preferably in a supervisory role.
