Senior Event Organizer

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient delivery of event plans, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Managing box office operations and bar management, while also handling cash and providing client hospitality
- Overseeing venue setups and turnarounds, as well as cross-event marketing initiatives
- Conducting regular venue maintenance and upkeep, presenting the venue in its best light
- Representing the company through liaison with agents, promoters, artists, and clients at events
- Recruiting, training, grading, and managing event staff, including food and beverage staff, ushers, box office personnel, back-of-house staff, venue technicians, and security suppliers
- Researching and sourcing events effectively and efficiently, working closely with event bookers and senior management
- Managing RSA, cash handling, stock control, and ordering
- Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to established safety policies and procedures
- Updating and managing compliance documentation, and reporting on end-of-event incidents and financial matters
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Experience in event coordination or a related field
- Knowledge of event planning software and tools
- Physical stamina to work long hours, sometimes at short notice
