Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Your Local Motor Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of weekly payroll and associated accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees
  • Manage employee records, including leave and allowances
  • Reconcile payroll and accruals, and ensure compliance with taxation and superannuation laws
  • Generate standard and ad-hoc reports as required
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller to ensure company compliance with all legislative obligations
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, providing payroll functions for a large employer
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes and systems
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data
  • Well-developed computer skills and ability to work independently
