We are seeking a highly skilled Rostering Officer to join our team. As a Rostering Officer, you will play a critical role in preparing and maintaining our rosters across multiple programs. This will involve ensuring shift coverage at short notice, as well as advance planning to meet the needs of our clients and staff.

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to self-prioritize and ensure completion of tasks within appropriate timeframes. They will also be able to provide accurate, clear, and concise instruction both verbally and in written form.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Collating and completing fortnightly rosters to ensure timely submission to Payroll
  • Analyzing and reporting on schedule variances, shortfalls, overtime, absences, and other key performance indicators
  • Scheduling resources to cover planned and unplanned changes in staff availability
  • Supporting new employees through their orientation process

Requirements for the role include:

  • Demonstrated experience in roster management, human resources coordination, or payroll-related positions
  • Ability to use rostering management software and become proficient in relevant organizational policy and award interpretation
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People registration
  • Ability to complete a National Police check satisfactory to CatholicCare's requirements
