Job Summary

The Security Project Coordinator will assist with the successful delivery of major and minor security projects within the Australia New Zealand (ANZ) geographical area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Review and manage physical design policies.
  • Develop security designs based on client policies for major and minor works.
  • Develop bill of materials (BOMs) for major and minor works and issue to vendors for quoting.
  • Prepare quotes for approval by the APAC Post Occupancy Projects Manager.
  • Coordinate with internal entities and stakeholders for works completion, testing, and commissioning.
  • Compare vendor invoices against quotes and/or services delivered and recommend, reject for payment, or receive for services.
Requirements
  • Experience with physical security systems and terminology, including problem resolution and equipment interpretation.

  • Project management certification, preferred.
  • Proficient English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to read and analyze architectural floor plans.
  • Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals regarding physical security standards and designs.
  • Able to analyze complex situations and recommend solutions.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and initiative driven.
  • Able to multi-task and organize workload for effective implementation.
  • Able to carry out responsibilities with little supervision.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy.
Working Conditions

With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions; Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment. Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking. Travel across the ANZ region, as required, for the successful completion of assigned projects.
