Bridge Construction Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year's experience in carpentry, with a proven track record of safe working practices on construction sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating directly with site management to complete carpentry tasks related to bridge construction.
- Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to inform work activities.
- Constructing forms, falsework, and structural components for bridge projects.
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood, steel, and other construction materials.
- Assisting with the installation of rebar, concrete pours, and other structural elements.
- Operating a range of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Rigging cranes and providing clear hand signals for material placement.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Participating in safety meetings and site orientations.
Essential qualifications:
- Minimum one year's experience in carpentry (bridge construction preferred).
- Proven history of safe working practices on construction sites.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials up to 50 pounds.
