Bridge Construction Specialist

The Bridge Construction Specialist plays a pivotal role in the development of bridges, collaborating closely with senior project managers and foremen to complete carpentry tasks associated with bridge construction.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure precision and attention to detail.
- Construct forms, falsework, and structural components for bridge projects, demonstrating strong analytical skills and ability to identify potential issues.
- Cut, shape, and assemble wood, steel, and other construction materials, utilizing a range of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.
- Assist with installation of rebar, concrete pours, and other structural elements, showcasing a commitment to safety and quality.
- A minimum of one year of experience in carpentry, preferably in bridge construction.
- A proven track record of safe working practices on construction sites, including a valid fall protection certification.
- An excellent work ethic and attitude towards hard work and long hours, as well as effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools, power tools, carpentry equipment, and construction materials, along with a positive attitude and desire to build a career in bridge construction.
