Job Opportunity

We are seeking skilled bridge construction professionals to join our team as carpenters.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, with experience working on bridge projects and a proven track record of safe practices on construction sites.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with site supervisors and foremen to complete carpentry tasks related to bridge construction
  • Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Built forms, falsework, and structural components for bridge projects
  • Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood, steel, and other construction materials
  • Assisting with installation of rebar, concrete pours, and other structural elements
  • Operating a variety of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
  • Rigging cranes and providing proper hand signals for material placement
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Participating in safety meetings and site orientations
  • FOLLOWING ALL SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND HOLDING A VALID FALL PROTECTION TICKET

Qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 1 year of carpentry experience (bridge construction preferred)
  • A proven history of safe practices on construction sites
  • The ability to perform the required tasks (lifting, carrying, moving materials up to 50 lbs)
  • A good work ethic and attitude towards hard work and long hours
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues before they arise
  • Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools, power tools, carpentry tools, and construction materials
  • A positive attitude and a strong desire to build a career in bridge construction
