Aboriginal Community Development Specialist

This is a highly rewarding role that requires a skilled and compassionate individual to provide case management and support services to participants in the Connect Wanju program.

The successful candidate will work closely with a caseload of participants, providing individualised case management and developing support plans to assist them achieve progress towards successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of participants and providing individual and group counselling services.
  • Identifying and supporting engagement with community programs and services.
  • Collaborating with multiple service providers to deliver client/participant outcomes.

Selection criteria for this role include relevant education or qualifications in social, behavioural or health sciences, counselling or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with clients and populations from diverse backgrounds.
