Case Officer

This role involves providing case support to young people on bail, promoting rehabilitation and reducing re-offending through close collaboration with colleagues and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to young persons, including engaging with the individual, conducting outreach activities and delivering case management interventions.
  • Deliver after-hours assistance to young people, such as transportation to educational institutions, appointments, and leisure/recreational activities.
  • Offer technical expertise in electronic monitoring to assess suitability for this service.
  • Install, remove, troubleshoot and maintain electronic monitoring devices for young people participating in this program.
  • Engage with complex cases and work therapeutically with young people and their families to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Services is preferred.
  • A valid Victorian driver's license is required due to travel needs within the state.
  • An active Employee Working with Children Check card is necessary and will be required prior to employment commencement by the applicant.
