About the Organisation

Bundanon is an art museum embedded in a 1,000 hectare landscape, in the Shoalhaven region of NSW. The organisation's mission is to operate the Bundanon properties as a centre for creative arts and education, to support the development of arts practice across all disciplines and to enable public access to the arts and to the landscape.

About the Role

The Head of Live Programs & Audience Engagement is a key member of our Executive Team, reporting directly to the CEO and leading the strategic and operational direction of our engagement & visitation initiatives.

Livestream Events/Public Programs

Develop and deliver public and live events across various artforms, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion. Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop, and execute seasonal opening weekends, talks, and programs that enrich and expand our annual exhibition seasons.

Audience Development and Community Engagement

Collaborate with leadership and key staff to deliver indigenous engagement commitments, ensuring the representation and voice of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. Analyze audience profiles and design programs that strategically target and engage key audience groups.

Visitor Experience

Oversee Visitor Service operations to ensure an excellent visitor experience in a safe and welcoming environment, including ticketing, retail, membership programs, and tours. Strategize the visitor journey focusing on planning, data analysis, evaluation, and relationship management.

Strategy Execution

Form part of the Executive Team to contribute and execute on strategic initiatives. Drive review processes to set priorities, monitor progress, remove obstacles, and ensure the sustainability of planned work. Shape strategies to position us as a leading cultural and tourism destination on the NSW South Coast, enhancing our profile regionally, nationally, and internationally.
