Job Title: Team Leader Visitor Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to oversee our visitor experience program.

The Team Leader Visitor Experience will be responsible for managing a dispersed team located across the NSW region, developing and delivering visitor experiences, visitor services, volunteering, tourism industry liaison and stakeholder communications.

  • Manage Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre, Minnamurra Rainforest Centre, NPWS Discovery guided tour program, Barunguba Montague Island visitor program, multi-day walks including coordinating transport, tours and accommodation
  • Support camping and roofed accommodation management in parks and reserves
  • Coordinate filming and event management approvals
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage visitor centre operations, including staff supervision, budgeting and service delivery
  • Develop and implement visitor experience programs, including leisure, education and small events
  • Provide high-quality customer service and ensure effective communication with visitors
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including tourism operators and local communities
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability
