Commercial Operations Manager

We are seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to lead our commercial activities in the Melbourne CBD location. This is a permanent full-time position that involves providing leadership and accountability for all commercial operations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualifications in Business or Finance
  • Demonstrated experience with strategic commercial activities
  • Exposure to operational and commercial risk management within a retail environment or a multifunctional facility desirable
  • Experience in contract management around multi-aspect facilities or projects, and the ability to manage contractual negotiations with multiple service providers
  • Experience in managing small to medium-sized projects, preferably projects that involved construction or infrastructure development and multiple stakeholders

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in identifying revenue growth and commercial opportunities. You will also be expected to negotiate and manage commercial contracts related to facility and retail operations, as well as oversee the day-to-day management of commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting the General Manager in identifying revenue growth and commercial opportunities
  2. Negotiating and managing commercial contracts related to facility and retail operations
  3. Evaluating the financial and operational impacts of service contracts and providing accurate and timely advice
  4. Managing service provider performance
  5. Overseeing the day-to-day management of commercial operations
