
Roster Operations Specialist

The Job Summary: As a Roster Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that the residence is appropriately staffed at all times to deliver quality care to residents while maintaining a positive work environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Staff Scheduling: Developing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and to meet the care requirements of residents.
- Shift Management: Effectively handling requests for shift changes, leave, or time off and finding suitable replacements when necessary to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Communication: Maintaining open and effective communication with staff members to inform them of their schedules, shift changes and any updates or important information related to their work.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the facility's management team to align staffing needs with organizational goals and optimize workforce management.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have the ability to manage rostering and team member allocations, experience using employee scheduling software, adaptability and a passion for learning, strong teamwork skills, and effective communication abilities.
