Workforce Planning and Operations Lead

As the Workforce Planning and Operations Lead, you will oversee the delivery of effective employee rosters for our custom facility. You will lead a team in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant rostering, while also overseeing a small production recruitment team to align resourcing needs with operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead workforce planning to deliver efficient and compliant rostering systems.
  • Develop recommendations that optimize labour efficiency and minimize costs, maintaining compliance with employment legislation and regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with managers and supervisors to implement effective rostering systems across the facility.
  • Collaborate with payroll, people operations, and third-party agencies to support recruitment, attendance management, and cross-functional workflows.
  • Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of rostering systems, employee details, and workforce planning documentation.
  • Represent workforce planning in operational projects and stakeholder engagements, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in workforce planning, rostering, and recruitment, including leading and developing teams.
  • Experience working with and interpreting employment awards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Able to educate and transfer knowledge effectively.
