About the Role
The Practice Manager is a key position at Ryde Veterinary Clinic, responsible for overseeing the business, people, operations, and services of the clinic. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting, managing:
- Operational and people matters, including communications, procedures, and business services.
- Employee matters, including recruitment, workforce planning, rosters, health and wellbeing, recognition awards, people performance, training, and development.
- Customer experience and client loyalty activities, clinic service streams, marketing, digital services, social media, complaint resolution, and compliments.
- Financial performance, stock control, procurement, accounts, budgets, and profit and loss.
- Work health and safety compliance, facilities, maintenance, assets, equipment, cleaning, and presentation standards.
- Clinical governance and strategic direction, working closely with Clinical Leaders.
- Company initiatives, projects, and technology, championing change and driving client engagement.
About You:
- Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience.
- Experience with practice management systems or appointment book management skills and computer confidence.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills.
- Good understanding of people and employment obligations.
- Good knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
- A genuine love for animals and their people.
- Passionate about client communication and advocate patient welfare.
- A keen desire to deliver excellent standards of patient care and personalised customer service.
- A team player with a healthy 'can do' attitude and enjoy being part of a positive team culture.
