Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Regional Clinical Director to play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of veterinary services across multiple clinics in the Sydney region. As a Regional Clinical Director, you will work clinically within your practices to help coach and develop the veterinarians in each site, guiding a team of talented veterinarians and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration through team-based consulting and high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake clinical days to work with the various teams, building rapport and understanding how to help each individual team.
- Oversee and guide veterinarians and clinic teams within your designated region, ensuring the delivery of exceptional veterinary care, adhering to high quality standards and professionalism.
- Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge within the teams.
- Implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, client satisfaction, and overall clinic performance.
- Ensure the safety of our teams by reviewing compliance safety controls and adherence to Veterinary Surgeons Board Guidelines and Legislation.
- Collaborate with the General Manager, Area Managers, Chief Veterinary Officer, and other Regional Clinical Directors, to drive high standards of care and best practices.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of veterinarians and staff within your region.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and technology.
- A degree in Veterinary Medicine and registration to practice in New South Wales.
- Proven leadership experience in a veterinary setting, with a track record of successful team management.
- Advanced skills such memberships, particularly in small animal surgery with the ability to perform orthopaedic surgery, would be viewed favourably.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Passion for delivering excellent veterinary care and driving continuous improvement.
- Innovative mindset and the ability to adapt to the evolving veterinary industry.
- Willingness to travel between clinics within the region and help other regions cover leave or extra workloads.
