Heavy Diesel Fitter

Our team offers a great opportunity to advance your skills as a Heavy Diesel Field and Breakdown Fitter in our Muswellbrook operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance, repair, and servicing of large-scale mobile mining equipment.
  • Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component changeouts to a high standard.
  • Source technical information from relevant manuals and systems.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Conduct inspections to maximise equipment utilisation.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Certificate III Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or similar.
  • Have post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry.
  • Proven experience with Liebherr and CAT large earthmoving equipment.
