**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Wrapper to join our team. This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, and start early in the morning from 5am.

**Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional member service by being prompt, courteous and efficient in all interactions.
  • Inspect and reassemble equipment sanitized the previous night to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Rework display cases and rotate product to maintain a visually appealing storefront.
  • Take large trays of packaged meat from wheeled racks and place individual packages into automatic wrapping machines.
  • Follow established safety and security procedures at all times.
  • Set labelers according to product type and price, print and apply labels to products.
  • Place wrapped and labeled meat on large trays and stock them in display cases by reaching through sliding windows or moving racks to the floor.
  • Operate a meat mincer to prepare ingredients for packaging.
  • Dump meat into the top of the machine and check fat content of each batch from the grinder.
  • Adhere to proper department production procedures and standards for quality and consistency of finished products.
  • Clean and sanitize areas throughout the day to maintain a clean working environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment and implements to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with monthly stocktakes (inventory) as needed.

**Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:

  • Assist with front-end duties as necessary.
  • Support other departments within the warehouse as required.
