Job Title: Crane Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Crane Technician to join our team in Queensland.

  • This role offers excellent earning potential and the chance to work with leading crane technology.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on cranes.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, and critical repairs following manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate technical records, including detailed job cards for all work performed.
  • Manage stock levels of spare parts, oils, and consumables.
  • Schedule and coordinate repairs and servicing to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and team members effectively.
Requirements:
  • Recognised Trade Qualification in Plant Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics, transport trailers, Earthmoving equipment, or similar.
  • Willingness to relocate to Mackay or surrounding areas.
  • Experience with heavy vehicle maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to WHS practices and procedures.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
What We Offer:
  • Compensation: 50-57ph + penalties on 12h / day + superannuation
  • Tools allowance and DIDO allowance
  • Meals provided

Roster Flexibility: Primarily 3 weeks on, 1 week off roster with potential for 2 weeks on, 1 week off.

DIDO Option: Daily commute from Mackay and nearby areas.

Relocation Support: Assistance with accommodation through local real estate contacts.
