Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Lutheran Services Australia.

The successful candidate will be part of a close-knit community that values collaboration and teamwork. Our facility provides palliative, residential, and respite care to our clients, and we are looking for individuals who can:

  • Deliver comprehensive evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Undertake comprehensive nursing assessments, develop and implement plans of care, and evaluate patient care outcomes
  • Exercise sound clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making processes in the delivery and evaluation of care
  • Maintain professional skills and knowledge through participation in continuing education and performance appraisal and development

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and direction to a team of carers and maintain best practice
  • Ensure clients and colleagues are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic, or linguistic backgrounds
