The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. You will play a key role in assessing, treating, and supporting clients through their recovery journey, working closely with psychiatrists, counsellors, and other allied health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.

  • Provide individual therapy using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, EMDR).

  • Liaise with the broader multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and client-focused care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to program development and service improvement initiatives.

About You

Essential Criteria:

  • Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 2 years' post-registration experience in mental health, addiction treatment, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

Desirable:

  • Experience in inpatient or residential mental health settings.
  • Additional training in trauma-focused therapy, EMDR, or schema therapy.
  • Knowledge of co-occurring disorders and dual diagnosis treatment approaches.
