Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supervising site operations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site operations for residential and/or commercial construction projects.
  • Manage subcontractors, tradespeople, and labourers to ensure work is performed according to project plans and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections to enforce safety protocols, quality control, and environmental standards.
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries of materials and equipment.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and suppliers to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant building codes, WHS regulations, and council requirements.
  • Handle on-site problem solving and make decisions to minimize delays.
  • Maintain accurate records including site diaries, timesheets, and variation logs.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or Foreman, ideally in residential or commercial construction.
  • Trade qualification in carpentry, building, or a related field (Cert IV in Building & Construction preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Australian building codes, WHS regulations, and Sydney local council requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Valid NSW White Card and driver's licence.

Desirable Skills:

  • First Aid Certification.
  • Experience with digital project management tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, PlanGrid).
  • Experience in supervising multi-dwelling or high-rise projects.
