Senior Advanced Practice Nurse Specialist

This position is for an Advanced Practice Nurse to work in a dynamic environment. The role involves providing person-centred specialist nursing care at an advanced practice level.
The successful applicant will provide clinical leadership, support and supervision for less experienced clinicians to achieve people-focused quality care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing specialist nursing care at an advanced practice level
- Leading and supervising multidisciplinary teams
- Developing and implementing evidence-based practice
- Servicing as a resource person and mentor for others within the specialty
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience working in renal nursing and relevant post-registration qualifications.
They will also have demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing specialty nursing care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Requirements include current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the ability to exercise extended autonomy in clinical decision making capabilities.
