Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to provide advanced practice level specialist nursing care for our patients. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize evidence-based best practices to deliver high-quality, specialist nursing care for patients with complex needs.
  • Provide clinical leadership, support, and supervision to junior clinicians to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • Develop and implement tailored care plans that prioritize patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Requirements:

  • Hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and relevant post-registration qualifications in mental health.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of three years' experience working in the designated speciality.
  • Showdemonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing speciality nursing care in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Exhibit the ability to exercise extended autonomy in clinical decision-making and leadership in advancing nursing specialty practice.
