Advanced Practice Mental Health Clinician

This role provides advanced practice care for individuals in a community mental health setting.
The successful candidate will provide person-centred care and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist nursing care at an advanced practice level for individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Lead and support less experienced clinicians to achieve seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that prioritize evidence-based approaches.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and maintain open communication channels.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to maintain expertise in mental health skills and stay up-to-date with best practices.
- Current registration with relevant health practitioner agencies as a Registered Nurse and post-registration qualifications in Mental Health.
- Demonstrated competencies and knowledge of specialty nursing care in a multidisciplinary context.
- Ability to exercise autonomy in clinical decision-making and leadership in nursing specialty practice advancement.
- Effective communication, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others.
- Knowledge and application of evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and commitment to quality improvement.
