Driving Business Growth through Strategic Partnerships
The role of a Senior Business Lead is pivotal in securing large-scale trade-in partnerships with telcos and retailers. This senior commercial position combines business development, relationship management, and strategic deal-making.
You will be the face of our organisation to C-level executives, procurement teams, and industry stakeholders. Your focus will be to position us as the preferred trade-in partner, replacing incumbent providers by demonstrating innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability.
About the Role:
- Strategic Business Development: Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with telcos, retailers, and OEMs in the ANZ region.
- Develop a go-to-market strategy for displacing incumbents.
- Own the end-to-end enterprise sales cycle: from lead generation to contract signing.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build senior relationships with procurement managers, category leads, and executive decision-makers.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to strengthen our profile.
- Partnership Management: Negotiate and structure commercial agreements, ensuring win-win outcomes.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and sustainability teams to deliver bespoke trade-in solutions tailored to partner needs.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales (ideally in telco, retail, or device lifecycle industries).
- Proven track record of winning major contracts or displacing incumbent providers.
- Strong C-suite and procurement relationship management skills.
- Deep understanding of device trade-in, buyback, insurance, or circular economy models.
- Excellent negotiation, commercial, and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work in a fast-growing, scaling business.
