Health and Wellbeing Specialist

This role focuses on supporting employees in returning to work safely and effectively after injury. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in coordinating the return-to-work process, including communication with stakeholders, managing injury reporting and investigation, and collaborating with managers and employees to identify workplace accommodations and modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the return-to-work process for employees, including communicating with stakeholders.
- Manage the injury reporting and investigation process, including documenting incidents and implementing healthcare providers and developing return-to-work plans.
- Collaborate with managers and employees to identify workplace accommodations and modifications to support returning employees.
- Maintain accurate records of injury reports and related documentation.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of injury management and return-to-work programs.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work.
- Strong clinical reasoning.
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal.
