Vacation Ambassador

We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Guest Experience Host & Face to Face Lead Generator in Airlie Beach.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences for our guests. Your primary focus will be on greeting and registering owners and guests, providing information on local area attractions, and completing all department-related paperwork.
- Greet and register owners and guests, ensuring a seamless check-in process.
- Provide detailed information on local area attractions, including recommendations and tips.
- Process all necessary paperwork, maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
- Utilize communication equipment, including telephones, facsimiles, and computers, to stay connected with colleagues and guests.
As a Guest Experience Host, your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Building rapport with guests and establishing trust to ensure a positive experience.
- Working closely with the resort operations team to provide a high level of service and a seamless transition for owners and guests.
- Generating sales appointments for our sales centers located at our amazing resorts and via livestream.
- Clearly articulating the benefits of traveling within the Wyndham Destinations community.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar hotel position.
- An genuine passion for customer service and the local area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude, with a strong desire to deliver exceptional results.
- Immaculate presentation and professional grooming standards.
- High levels of computer literacy, with experience using PMS systems (Hirum, Fidelio, Opera, etc.) advantageous.
- The ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, public and school holidays.
