About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development of high-impact regulatory content in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of compliance trends and legislative reform, with the ability to stay ahead of industry developments.

This role requires a unique blend of legal expertise, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen. As a legally qualified professional, you will be responsible for managing the content lifecycle, cultivating relationships with external contributors, and driving authoring projects from initiation to delivery.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the content lifecycle for assigned regulatory modules
  • Stay ahead of legislative reform, case law, compliance trends, and sector developments
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with external contributors such as specialist lawyers, consultants, regulators, and professional bodies
  • Drive authoring projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring quality and compliance standards are consistently met
Requirements:
  • University law degree or equivalent – legal and compliance education and experience preferred
  • 3+ years post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally in financial services, banking, insurance or legal/corporate compliance
  • Demonstrated legal drafting and editing skills
  • Strong understanding of how compliance content is used across legal and non-legal industries
  • Prior experience in content/product development, publishing, or legal technology is desirable
