Job Title:

Education Support Assistant

Job Description:

Newtown Primary School is seeking a dedicated and experienced education support assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality educational services to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in implementing educational programs for students
  • Provide individual and group support to students as required
  • Coordinate activities and events within the school community

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong commitment to student learning and wellbeing.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Work Environment:

Newtown Primary School operates 9 classes with 13 classroom teaching & specialist teaching staff, a learning tutor, Assistant Principal, Principal, Business Manager, and a team of dedication education support staff.
