We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our Inclusion and Diversity team as a Learning Support Officer. The successful candidate will have a passion for inclusive education and student wellbeing.

About the Role

This is a part-time fixed term position available for 2026, with potential to extend depending on government funding and student needs. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our team, providing direct or indirect support to students to enhance their access to learning.

The role involves working alongside teachers and the Inclusion and Diversity team to implement teacher-designed adjustments, support student inclusion, and contribute to a safe and empowering learning environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and evaluation of student learning plans
  • Assist in inclusive classroom practices and differentiated instruction
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and Inclusion and Diversity staff
  • Attend excursions and activities to promote student inclusion
  • Maintain confidentiality and contribute to a child-safe learning environment

Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience working with young people and relevant qualifications. A current Police Check, Working with Children Check and driver's licence are also required.

Classification for the role is ESS Level 2 in accordance with the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.
