Senior Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Senior Accountant to play a key role in enabling our company's growth.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients working closely with Partners.
  • Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for various entities.
  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with clients, providing expert advisory service and solutions.
  • Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts.
  • Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings, and social events.
  • Ensure exceptional service is provided to our clients.
About You:
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar field.
  • Expertise using accounting software including APS, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to clients.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual.
