Are you a highly skilled and experienced IT professional looking for a challenging role in a dynamic team? First Focus is seeking an exceptional Senior Service Desk specialist to join our Melbourne-based team.

Duties
  • Provide remote service desk support to environments with users, acting as a point of escalation and SME.
  • Support servers, desktops, and applications within Microsoft Azure, AD, and M365 environments.
  • Deliver support for Azure, VMWare, and Citrix cloud infrastructure.
  • Perform diverse support tasks across many technologies.
  • Participate in project work to deploy customer solutions.
  • Collaborate with experienced solutions experts to maintain best practice environments.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktops to firewalls, including LAN & WAN networking (Fortigate, Meraki, Cisco preferred).
  • Demonstrate outstanding spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Have deep expertise in Windows Server, desktop, Azure AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
  • Experience with messaging platforms such as Exchange Hybrid, On-premises, and Office 365.
  • Experience with Hyper-V and virtualization solutions.
  • Extensive experience with backup technologies (Veeam, Datto, StorageCraft preferred).
  • Excellent complex problem diagnosis skills.
  • Exposure to ticketing tools like Connectwise, Labtech, and Kaseya is highly valued.
