Senior Strategy Director Job

We are excited to invite applications for the role of Senior Strategy Director with our team in Sydney.

This is a career-changing opportunity that involves driving the core functions of the strategic discipline for media responses, including objective & challenge identification, target audience profiling & recommendation development, consumer journey mapping and more.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of communications strategy development, media connections planning, and the media planning and buying landscape.

They will also be able to guide junior team members on the outcomes they can support using both media industry and proprietary tools and systems.

Other key responsibilities include developing, managing and growing a team of media strategists, playing an active role in identifying local 'big bet briefs', guiding award-worthy work through creative media solutions, and fostering positive and productive ways of working with agency peers across assigned clients.

As Senior Strategy Director, you will be responsible for integrating and collaborating across an end-to-end response to brief to ensure the strategic direction is reflected in tangible campaign outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of communications strategy development, media connections planning, and the media planning and buying landscape

  • Oversight into MMM and proven ability to understand value
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing science
