As a senior infrastructure professional, you'll support the head of discipline in delivering exceptional value to clients.

You'll take the technical lead, inspiring best practices within the infrastructure discipline, contributing to innovative solutions advancing our digital strategy.

In this role, you'll be based in Melbourne, encompassing:

- Elevating engineering practices, championing people development, and cultivating continuous learning.

- Creating balance between discipline and delivery, contributing to systems governance.

- Collaborating effectively in a multicultural environment.

- Defining and tailoring discipline practices, including processes and tools.

- Contributing to discipline efficiency plans to enhance business competitiveness.

- Promoting lean and agile practices, new technologies (e.g., AI), and responsible innovation.

- Providing technical oversight to other teams, ensuring designed solutions align with project schedules, costs, and quality standards.

On day one, we expect you to bring:

- A degree in Engineering, IT, Telecommunication, or Electronics, with postgraduate studies in Systems Engineering beneficial.

- Proven experience in complex ICT infrastructure projects (networking, computing, peripherals).

- Strong leadership aptitude and interpersonal skills, navigating complexity and ambiguity.

- Proficiency in networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs), operating systems (Linux - RHEL), cybersecurity practices, virtualization (QEMU KVM, ProxMox), and container fundamentals (Kubernetes).

- Broad experience in infrastructure design, deployment processes, and automation (Infra as Code, DevOps processes).
